Dedicated to the memory of John Wolff

John served in the RAF from 1954-1976. He became an Air Electronics Officer specialising in Anti-Submarine Warfare and flew 4,000hrs on over 20 aircraft types in his long career. He was awarded the MBE in 1976 after a secondment to the Fleet Air Arm to help drive their helicopter ASW capability. He retired from the RAF and joined Westland Helicopters in Somerset in 1976, before going on to work for Bendix Oceanics in the 90s. He was married to Janice (d. 1995) and Jeanette (d. 2009). He leaves behind his 3 children Bridget, Michael and Kanina, 5 grandchildren and step-grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
